The brief

Who it’s for. What it needs to do.

One foundation, many reasons for a neighbor to visit.

Sun City West Foundation supports a community through programs, events, room rentals, equipment lending and volunteering. The public website has to help residents find the right service while giving a small staff a manageable way to keep information current.

Cameron designed and built the public website and supporting staff tools. Ongoing conversations with the team shaped practical details, including the need for printable resources alongside the online information.

Design decisions

A closer look at the choices behind the pages.

Organize around the reason for visiting

The public site gives programs and ways to participate their own destinations. That structure matters when a visitor may be looking for equipment, an event or a place to volunteer. The homepage introduces the foundation without making its organizational structure the visitor’s first task.

Support the way the community uses information

The work includes service information and resources that staff keep up to date. The team’s request for a printable ride-resource list is a useful reminder that the journey can continue away from a screen. The public pages need to work for those handoffs too.

The visitor journey

From the first question to the next step.

  1. Choose the service or activity

Use the public navigation to find the program, event or facility that fits your reason for visiting.

  2. Read the practical details

Check the relevant information and any resources needed before making a call or visiting.

  3. Take part or get in touch

Follow the appropriate route for volunteering, attending, renting or asking a question.

What was built

A Webflow public website with structured content and supporting staff tools. Training and follow-up feedback informed the editing experience, including clearer publishing controls and ways to view information.

The result in context

The website supports the foundation’s active programs and ongoing updates. This case study shows public pages only. Staff time savings and changes in participation have not been measured for this presentation.
