How it works
How long does it take?
It depends on the size of the build. Foundation, a one-page site, goes live in 3–5 days. Studio, a full small-business site, takes 5–10 days. Atelier, our biggest build, takes 10–14 days. The more we make, the longer it takes, and we’d rather promise a range we can keep.
What do I need to give you?
A 20-minute kickoff call, your logo (or we draft a simple wordmark), photos if you have them and answers to a short questionnaire. No photos? We use licensed stock images, and Atelier includes a photo shoot. We do the rest.
Will I see drafts?
Yes. Early in the build you’ll see the design draft, and the full site goes up on your preview link before anything launches. Foundation includes one revision round, Studio two rounds and Atelier unlimited rounds.
What if I don’t like it?
Tell us what isn’t working, in plain words, and we revise it. If after two rounds you’re still not happy, we refund and part on good terms.
Pricing & plans
Why a monthly fee?
Because a website needs upkeep. Browsers update, and your photos and prices go out of date. The monthly fee covers hosting, maintenance, security and small content updates, so the site stays current.
What am I actually paying for?
A site our team designs and writes for you, plus everything that keeps it running: hosting, SSL, daily backups, your domain and small edits we make whenever you need them. It’s one price on one bill, with nothing to set up yourself.
Isn’t it cheaper to build it myself?
The software costs less, but you pay for it in hours. A builder like Squarespace still means picking the template, writing the copy and fixing the mobile view, then doing it all again every time something changes. We handle all of that, and the site is designed around your business.
Why not hire a freelancer or an agency?
There’s no big invoice up front, and no project that stalls when your freelancer takes on another client. We keep running the site after launch, so it stays up to date. If you’d rather pay once and own the files outright, we’re probably not your best fit. If you want it handled for one monthly price, we are.
What if I want to cancel?
You own your site. Cancel any time, take the code and host it wherever you like. We’ll help you move it.
Is there a setup fee?
No. Your first month covers the build.
Do you do one-off projects?
We don’t. Every site we build, we also maintain, because that’s how it stays current.
After launch
Who do I talk to if something breaks?
Reply to any email from us, or send a message from your dashboard. We respond within one business day, usually within an hour.
Can I make my own changes?
Yes. You can swap a photo or edit a paragraph from your dashboard. Send us anything bigger and we’ll handle it.
Do you handle SEO?
The basics come standard: clean markup, a title and description for every page, and pages built to load quickly. Deeper SEO work will be a paid add-on, and it’s coming soon.
What about analytics?
Plausible Analytics is included. It shows you how many people visit and which pages they read, without cookies or a consent banner.
