The Singer Residence, Marblehead

A contemporary timber-frame set above the harbor, framed in locally sourced cedar and reclaimed beams. Completed in 2024, its great room carries the whole view — and every joint holding it up was cut by hand.

Anchored to coastal granite, with a stone foundation poured over eight weeks and passive heating built into the bones. Delivered in 2023 — proof that patience is a building material.
