Bookkeeping and tax prep that finally make sense.
Corrigan & Vance handles the numbers so you can run your business — clean monthly books, taxes filed on time, and answers in plain English whenever you have questions.

By the numbers
We keep score on ourselves, too.
What we do
Accounting, handled.
Small-business bookkeeping
Monthly reconciliation and clean, current books — so you know where you stand without digging through a shoebox of receipts in April.
Individual tax preparation
Your return, filed correctly and explained in plain language — what you owed, what you saved, and why, every year.
Business tax preparation
S-corp, partnership, and LLC returns prepared by someone who already knows your books, not a stranger every March.
Quarterly estimated tax planning
For freelancers and 1099 income — a number to send in each quarter, calculated ahead of time, so April never surprises you.
Payroll setup & compliance
Payroll built correctly from day one — on-time filings, correct withholding, and no penalty letters in the mail.
Succession & transition advisory
Handing a business to a partner, a buyer, or the next generation takes a plan. We help you build one before you need it.

From shoebox to clean monthly close.
Most clients arrive mid-mess — receipts in a drawer, software three months behind, a nagging feeling the numbers are off. We start with a one-time catch-up to get you current, then set a monthly rhythm: every account reconciled, every expense categorized correctly, and a short plain-English summary in your inbox by the 10th. Within a quarter, the books stop being a chore you dread and start being how you make decisions.
Clients say
Numbers you can actually trust.
“Our books used to be a shoebox of receipts we'd panic-sort every March. Now I get a clean monthly statement and I actually understand it.”
“Quarterly taxes used to be a guessing game — I'd either overpay out of fear or underpay and get hit later. Now I get a number ahead of time and just send it in.”
“Handing the shop to my daughter felt like a huge, messy unknown. They laid out a plan a year ahead of time and the transition was calm — no fires to put out.”
Quick answers
Asked in almost every first meeting.
When is the best time to switch accountants?
Any month works, but the cleanest handoff is right after a quarter closes. We coordinate the transfer with your previous accountant directly — you sign one authorization and we take it from there.
Do you work with brand-new businesses?
Yes — several clients who have been with us for over a decade came in before their first sale. Setting the books up correctly on day one is far cheaper than untangling them in year three.
Do we have to meet in person?
Only when you want to. Most clients do a mix — documents move through a secure portal, quick questions go by email, and we sit down together when the numbers deserve a conversation.
Still keeping your own books?
Most small-business owners mean to get organized and then the season gets busy. The first consultation is free — let's take a look together.
